FITNESS BOOTCAMP is a high intensity interval training (HIIT) program that incorporates strength training, balance, agility, core stability, cardiovascular exercise and flexibility/stretching. Each sessions change daily to add new challenges and variety to every workout — no two workouts are ever the same. This keeps your body guessing which leads to better results.
This is NOT your average, boring workout session. You will leave each session getting an awesome workout that is efficient, safe and effective. Our experienced trainers will take campers through a series of total body exercises that will help build lean muscle, increase balance, increase flexibility and burn calories.
Melissa has dedicated her career to fitness and performance training. She has received many certifications including MS, ATC, USAW, CSCS*D (NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), NATA licensed Athletic Trainer and USA Olympic Weightlifting Performance Coach. She has a Masters Degree in Human Performance and Movements and has a bachelors in Exercise Science.
Melissa’s knowledge of athletics and fitness is broad and well-formed. She is a former college NCAA soccer player with 10+ years experience working as Head Athletic Trainer in the collegiate level football, basketball, baseball, soccer, rugby, volleyball and crew. She has worked for the MLB, NFL, and the NBA. She has recently finished four seasons with WNBA Seattle Storm as assistant Athletic Trainer and Head Strength Coach during which time the team won the WNBA 2010 Championship.
